Hi; we are facing this important case in which our internal endpoints go live in our public documentation yet its status still not released!
Advise please
jam_zaw It seems the endpoints were restored from archived data as per your colleague’s request. However, they can’t be reverted to the original branch because it has been deleted. As communicated in the email, the endpoints are restored on the main branch. I suggest duplicating them to the appropriate development branch and then removing them from the main branch.
acually the same case happened with multiple endpoints (which were not restored).
Karan what is needed here is to support a separate status, for example Internal, where any endpoint set to that status won’t appear publicly
I just confirmed this with the product team. That status property has no impact on published documents. It’s just used for intra-team filtering and information logging. But we have a feature coming out in early September that’s really suitable for your usage scenarios. That is, users can choose the visibility of documents, folders and endpoints, etc. And the child settings will automatically inherit from the parent settings.
that would be nice, because currently all statuses are immediately reflected on our live documentation
being able to manipulate and the visibility would help us greatly internally
