Possible to start Apidog without an internet connection?

I have the periodic need to test APIs while connected to a VPN that cuts my internet access. I’ve found that if I start Apidog before connecting to the VPN I can use it fine, but starting after I have connected results in an error: “Failed to connect to the Apidog server. Please check if your network is working properly.”

I’ve looked in the settings to see if it could be configured to start offline, but haven’t found anything there. Am I missing an option somewhere, or does Apidog require an internet connection to start up? I could always start it up before I connect or disconnect and reconnect after opening it, but neither are particularly convenient as I always need the VPN and only sometimes need to test on it, and resources are limited on my VM.
