Mouse navigation buttons don't work with history on published docs

Example: any docs page, like this most popular one.

The history “back” and “forward” buttons in the browser UI work fine, but dedicated buttons on mouse do nothing, it’s the first time I see such weird behavior.

Tested on Brave/Edge on Windows 11.
