I’m trying to expand a module by clicking the arrow, and that works, but it also opens the module settings. Any way to fix this? It’s very annoying.
Currently when clicking the module arrow to expand, it also opens the module settings panel. This panel isn’t persistent and will be automatically replaced when you click other resources in the left navigation tree. Would you like to share any other suggestions for improving this interaction experience?
OK, that’s helpful to know. My suggestion would be, that if the user clicks the arrow, it does not open the module settings panel but only expands the items below it. Because the user is only trying to see what’s in it, not look at the properties. Only if I click on the text of the module, endpoints, etc (or maybe a menu item in the “…” menu) then it would open the settings panel.
And (maybe) make the expand arrows like the ones for the endpoints to be consistent. So you would move them to the left of the icon.
