Hi team, we have long been looking for a feature that allows for a preview of the documentation site after taking pull before committing them.
The idea is that there should be a preview pull from Swagger which shows the project state after the pull, in case the developer sees issues in endpoints he can simply discard the pull and flag to the team that a problem is present in either swagger changes or apidog settings.
In the past we have experienced issues with imports which resulted in our prod site having incorrect changes and affecting customer reputation. Therefore a feature like this would be really helpful.
Hi HamzaJD, regarding your request for a preview feature before committing changes, you can achieve this by publishing the documentation and then immediately unpublishing it. This will keep the docs in a previewable but unpublished state, allowing you to review them before making them live for users.
Hi HamzaJD, you might consider using sub-branches in multi-branch environments to verify your APIs for issues before merging them into the main branch. This allows you to confirm everything works correctly without affecting the production site.
Thankyou team. I would really appreciate a documentation guide which can help in this scenario. I believe more people would find it helpful as this is a very common scenario which many would appreciate.
