Is first example and body content linked?

I have several examples saved as a request body. When I change the body in the request itself the first example is always being overwritten with the actual content in the body. Is this expected? Would be good to have the examples untouched because if you, for example, have two different example - Example 1 and Example 2 - and put the content of Example 2 to the body and save the request, you the Example 1 would be lost, because it would be overwritten by the body content.

And another question - would be really good to have ability to sort Examples via drag’n’drop similar to how cases can be moved. When you have like 10 examples it is good idea to have it organized.

Thanks!

Thanks for your feedback!

For the first issue, we can’t reproduce it currently – could you please provide steps with screenshots or a video to help us investigate?

For the second suggestion about drag-and-drop sorting for examples, we’ll definitely consider it for future improvements.

Sure, here is a screencast of the body and 1st example being linked. Let me know if you need any further detail.

Currently, this is the intended design where the request value always corresponds to the first example value. I’ll forward this feedback to our product manager to explore potential improvements.

Because of this I have to have like Default example as a first example for all requests to not override it accidentally. Please consider having body value and the 1st example independently of each other if possible. Thanks!

Thank you for your feedback—we’ll evaluate this and consider improvements.
