Hi I am trying to set up a custom domain and am getting a 404 error on the domain side.

I am using the CNAME and have added it to the domain enabled HTTPS and added my SSL cert and private key the dns checker says it has resolved @here

I camped onto this issue since it seems to be related to mine

Are you still getting a 404 error when accessing it now? Could you share a screenshot of your CNAME settings?

it is stuck on verifying CNAME but the sub domain works?

We’ve detected that your CNAME is set to 0qtgkt0hn8.apidog.io, which is incorrect. The correct configuration is shown in the domain settings page - please use that one. For details, see: Custom domain - Apidog Docs

ok so the system is looking for the incorrect cname that is why is will not verify can you change it on the back end?

The CNAME address is fixed for each site and cannot be changed. Please use the address displayed on the interface when configuring your CNAME in the domain settings.

so use this one correct? 750478.apidog.io

can you migrate our existing domain to this? http://750478.apidog.io/ ? we get a 404 when we try to attach the cname

once 750478.apidog.io is showing correct page (not 404) then we will update the CNAME in our DNS Manager.

The domain “750478.apidog.io” is for CNAME configuration only and cannot be accessed directly. You need to point your CNAME to this domain first.
