Have the email allowlist for docs now moved Pricing tier?

We’ve been on Basic for sometime now and this has not been part of Professional. Now without any warning we are now locked to adding more names to the list unless we upgrade. At least give us some notice. Not cool at all.

Has the email allowlist for docs now moved Pricing tier?

Hello, the email allowlist feature for docs has been moved to paid pricing tiers. Adding new names now requires an upgrade. Your existing allowlist and configurations remain unaffected and will continue to work normally as long as no modifications are made.

When did this happen? You could have given us some warning. I am now forced to upgrade to add more users to the list to continue using this as we need to. I can take bugs and I understand price rises but not announcing this and effectively now leaving me no choice has left a bitter taste after such a great customer experience until now. How do I trust that you will not do something like this in the future?

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and disruption caused by this adjustment.
Regarding your concerns, we would like to provide the following unified explanation:

  1. The permission adjustment for the document email allowlist officially took effect in version 2.7.48. Due to insufficient communication on our part, we failed to synchronize this information with you and other relevant users in advance, resulting in the need for you to upgrade and causing passivity in your usage. We apologize again for this oversight.
  2. Your feedback regarding the “lack of advance notification” is extremely valuable. We have promptly shared it with our product and operations teams.
  3. If you currently need to urgently add new contacts to the list, our staff will send you a private message with a temporary solution to facilitate the necessary user additions.

Many thanks for the response and apologies. We’ve upgraded now.
